The Unique Round Filter Solutions

The Filcon Round Filter (Type R) is unique because the design of the filter is based on the natural flow of air inside a cylinder. By means of gravity, the dust will automatically be removed at the bottom of the filter during operation.

Air-stream 

In order for any filter to operate on a optimal basis it is necessary to have a well defined air-stream entering the filter.
The air is entering the Filter via a cyclonic inlet, forcing the heavy dust particles to the side of the casing and letting the air penetrate through the Filter material. The high efficient Pulse-Jet cleaning system ensures a stable low pressure drop efficient cleaning of the dust from the bags, which is let out in the discharge in the bottom of the filter.

ATEX

The Filter type R is pressure resistant and certified according to the German guidelines VDI 2263 and the Filter can be equipped with Explosion reliefs according to VDI 3673.

Filter type RA

Type RA is suitable for fine and medium dust particles and can can handle a high dust load, due to the cyclonic inlet, placed in the top. The bottom discharge is equipped with a cone.

Filter type RB

Type RB is suitable for fine and medium dust particles and can can handle a high dust load, due to the cyclonic inlet, placed in the top. The special scraper bottom prevents all possible build-up.

Filter type RC

Type RC is designed for removal of dust at the source (ex. exhaust filter for silo’s) and is equipped with an open bottom.

Filter type RD

Type RD is suitable for big dust particles and a huge amount of dust application. The Filter has a bottom inlet the discharge is equipped with a cone.
